Tropical Puppy First Birthday Party | Mayley Is One!

Someone help me because I cannot believe I’m creating this post! MY BABY IS ONE! I truly do not know how this happened so fast. I had so much fun, actually way too much fun, planning her tropical puppy first birthday party and her styled birthday shoots (see these photos on my IG feed soon)! In this post, I will share all of those fun photos and party details.

Theme

For her theme, I kind of made it up myself. Haha! I really love tropical, bright elements but also, obviously, we ADORE dogs. Our pup, Paisley was included in a lot of the party elements.

Food

The food was simple, easy to serve and super fun! Here’s the list of what we made:

• Pasta salad

• Pink wafers dipped in white melting chocolate and glitter sprinkles

• Yellow Labrador shaped cookies from Kathy & Company

• Fruit served in waffle bowls

• A 2 tiered vanilla cake made by my Mama! YUM.

• Pinwheels courtesy of Costco ;)

Decor & Details

I had way too much fun picking out all of the decor elements. I found a lot of items on Etsy, Target and Meri Meri.

• Balloons and Balloon Garland Kit: Target & Amazon. This inexpensive kit is a MUST! I was so intimidate by balloon garland until I found this and realized how easy it is. It took me 20 minutes to pull together!
